The inspiration for this poster was based on the letter "C" that was hand designed in the 1960's specifically for an experimental logo for Country Club Ice Cream. The ball terminal was a staple within the logo as it was placed specifically to appear as 2 “eyes” that were a part of a smiley face that the logo created. The ball terminals were echoed in the background with other balls to represent ice cream scoops. Though this particular font is over 50 years old, an alphabetized variation of the font was created. It is not exactly the same, but the humanistic, loose feel, and prevalent ball terminals are thoroughly represented. The name of the “new” font is GP_Leonardo Condensed, and was created in 2007 by Intellecta Design.
